Recent News

APRIL 2005
The month of April was a busy one musically for Steve. He produced and played guitar on a demo recording for Singer/Pianist Karen Nyere, and wrote the music and did production for an acoustic folk song for an upcoming short film promoting vegetarianism from Thousand Beauty Films.

Steve Dockery is a singer/songwriter/guitarist from Northern Virginia. He started playing guitar in 1979, and began writing songs soon thereafter. In 1982, he formed a band called *Batteries Not Included which played extensively in New Jersey for most of the 1980's. Although he continued to perform occasionally, he took an extended break from songwriting for almost 15 years following the breakup of *BNI in 1989. With the release of Apple's Garageband software in 2004, Steve began to go back and record his old *BNI material, and in the process, was inspired to begin creating new music again.
